Conner Hobbs is a Wealth Manager at Cetera Investment Services who brings a passion for education, clear communication, and data-driven strategy to financial planning. Prior to transitioning into wealth management, Conner spent nearly a decade serving others—working four years as a house parent at Josiah White’s and five years as a 5th-grade teacher at Southwood Elementary. Driven by a love for math, formulas, and learning people's unique stories, Conner found financial services to be the perfect intersection of teaching and strategic planning.
In his day-to-day practice, Conner focuses on future income planning, analyzing fund models, and staying deeply informed on Social Security, Medicare, and client pensions. His primary goal is to eliminate confusion and bring order to financial complexity. Conner is known for taking a comprehensive approach: he works with clients to consolidate scattered accounts, establishes clear short- and long-term goals, and evaluates all assets—even those not under direct management—to ensure every piece aligns with the client's overall vision. By offering no account minimums and addressing even the smallest accounts, he ensures every client receives an efficient, actionable financial roadmap.
Clients and colleagues appreciate Conner’s transparent, fluid, and interactive style, as well as his proactive approach to problem-solving. Whether helping a retired couple organize disparate 401(k)s and IRAs to realize they can enjoy a pay raise in retirement, or simply being accessible when questions arise, Conner believes no detail is too small to address. For him, the highest compliment is a client referral—a sign of trust that he has delivered true clarity and peace of mind.
A native and current resident of La Fontaine, Indiana, Conner remains deeply connected to his roots and community. He serves on the La Fontaine Library Board, volunteers with The Access in Wabash, and is an active member of Treaty Church of Christ. Outside the office, Conner enjoys spending time with his close-knit family and friends, working out at the YMCA, rucking, reading non-fiction (and always taking client book recommendations!), and cheering on Indiana University basketball and football games.
